Bien acclimat\u00e9 dans les parcs et les jardins, le marronnier d’Inde \u00e0 fleurs blanches est en r\u00e9alit\u00e9 originaire d’Asie centrale, de l’Hymalaya ou du Caucase. Bach l’a employ\u00e9 \u00e0 deux reprises, pour ses bourgeons ainsi que pour ses fleurs tr\u00e8s parfum\u00e9es \u00e0 maturit\u00e9 et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es des abeilles. Elles se d\u00e9voilent en p\u00e9tales blancs tachet\u00e9s d’un jaune qui vire au rouge apr\u00e8s la pollinisation. regroup\u00e9es en grappes pyramidales, elles s’ouvrent de fa\u00e7on irr\u00e9guli\u00e8re, donnant une impression globale confuse. Malgr\u00e9 leur profusion, elles produisent peu de graines, dont quelques-unes seulement parviendront \u00e0 former des marrons.<\/p>\n
